Effective leadership is about guiding people toward a shared goal, and the most powerful way to inspire movement is through trust. Building trust requires empathy, strong communication, and collaboration—qualities that research consistently shows women excel in. Studies highlight that women often score higher in emotional intelligence, fostering stronger relationships and cohesive teams.
Brandi Sutter, CEO and Founder of Weston Heated Apparel, exemplifies this leadership through her unwavering dedication to innovation and improving everyday life. Her passion, resilience, and commitment to both her company and society make her a standout leader. For these reasons, we are proud to recognize Brandi Sutter as one of the Most Influential Women Leaders of the Year 2025.
From the Scratch
Brandi Sutter grew up in Maryland and has personally experienced the challenges of staying warm in freezing temperatures while remaining active and productive. Whether during outdoor adventures, sports, or daily commutes in cold weather, she found that traditional winter clothing was often insufficient. This realization led her to explore the potential of heated apparel as a solution to enhance comfort and performance in cold environments. Also, as someone who has always been passionate about innovation and creating products that enhance everyday life. The idea for Weston Heated Apparel stemmed from her desire to bridge the gap between technology and functional clothing.
